Are you intested in becoming a model,

or updating your existing portfolio?

ArtSmith Photography offers attractive rates for models working on developing or extending their portfolio.  We also offer some "time for prints" sessions for those models interested in also working on our projects.  Additionally, we are actively seeking advertising jobs which may require us to hire models -- having you in our "catalog" could mean you'd be contacted for one of these jobs.   If you are intested in exploring these opportunities, please drop us a line at art@artsmithphotography.com.  Please include your age, sex, height, weight and statistics (measurements for bust/chest, waist, hips, and dress or suit size) and, if possible, a photograph of yourself (need not be professional quality) or a link to an existing website with pictures of you.  Of course, if you just want to ask some questions, that's fine too!

We are always looking for new talent, and  accept models of all levels of experience, including those just starting out or exploring possibilities, and those interested in modeling on just a part-time or occasional basis.  Minors are welcome, but we require active parental involvement throughout the process, and any model under 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times when meeting or shooting with us.  All modeling sessions, whether TFP or otherwise will require a signed Model Release. 

We work with models in all areas, including fashion, glamour, print, editorial and artistic.  While some of these may involve nudity or implied nudity, we do not do "adult" or pornographic work.  No model will ever be asked to go beyond his or her "comfort zone" -- any nudity is at the model's sole discretion.  Models are always welcome to bring companions for their safety and comfort.  References are available upon request.

Fine Art Models Wanted

We are always looking for new models for fine art photography.  These modeling jobs are not paid, but the net proceeds from fine-art sales (if any) are split with the model(s) on a 50/50 basis.  Models should understand that fine art modeling often but not always involves full, partial or implied nudity.  All shoots will be discussed prior to beginning shooting and models will not be asked to go beyond their comfort levels.  All fine art models must be 18 years or older.  No experience is necessary.  This is open to both male and female models, and all body types.  Please contact Art Smith at art@ArtSmithPhotography.com if you are interested in becoming a fine-art model or have any questions or concerns.    Copies of our fine art model release are available upon request.

When contacting us about modeling, please include your age, sex, height, weight, skin color, and statistics (measurements for bust/chest, waist, hips, and dress or suit size) and, if possible, a photograph of yourself (need not be professional quality) or a link to an existing website with pictures of you.  If you don't know your statistics, don't worry.  Whenever possible we will meet with models in a public place prior to shooting to discuss the particulars of the project.  Models are always welcome to bring along a companion for their comfort and safety whenever we meet or shoot.
